The Banda del Sur was formed by Luca Artioli at the legendary Berlin venue, El Sur. They were a group of musicians from Cuba, Brazil, Italy, Spain and all over Latin America.
Luca Artioli, well known in the Berlin club scene as a singer, songwriter, bandleader and guitarist, was able to create and develope his own personal crossover music with the band. He perfected his own umistakeable sound – full of energy, a unique combination of classical guitar and edgy percussion. Their repertoire of lively Spanish, Latin American and Brazilian music is what sets them apart.
They play an explosive, intoxicating blend of saucy southern rhythms that mesmerize the audience!!!! Among their repertoire are gypsy rumba, salsa, bachata, merengue, bolero, cha-cha, samba, bahiao, axé, reggae, sambareggae and much, much more.
Luca Artioli & La Banda del Sur can also perform with a Brazilian and Cuban dance show. When Banda del Sur is there, everyone gets up to dance!!! La Banda del Sur is synonymous with fire, dancing and a party!!!!
