The Duo Italiano was founded in 2015 by Luca Artioli.
Under his artistic direction, the duo has dedicated itself to the Italian musical tradition over several centuries, making use of typical Italian musical instruments. A Neapolitan mandolin and a classical guitar: this is the unique Italian musical tradition.

The repertoire of this small Italian duo includes baroque concertos and sonatas by Vivaldi, original works for mandolin by Ludwig von Beethoven, mandolin compositions by Raffaele Calace as well as Neapolitan romances and classical tarantellas.
